Another session into our siosLIFE Labs and we decided to give Leap Motion a go!

What is Leap Motion

Leap Motion is a small device with which you can interact with a virtual world using your hands, in other words, augmented reality.

All you have to do is buy this device, download the SDK available for Windows, Mac or Linux and start developing. There are currently six languages available and several integrations, including for the main game development frameworks, such as Unity and Unreal Engine.

The Music Box Prototype

This time we created a small interactive game, in which we can make music. We created toggle and tap mechanisms to play a variety of sounds. Creating the project was quite simple, and with the help of Unity to power our development we quickly developed this prototype.

Given the thought of how this product could scale, we immediately thought of how MPC similar projects and even simple object to sound relation could benefit the children and elders’ cognitive system.
